My Favorite Online Tools for Managing My Etsy Store

Managing an Etsy store is a job. It might sound fun and artistic and like the dream but at the end of the day its a job and at times it can be tough which is why I rely on other tools and sources to make sure my job is as easy as possible. I remember the days before I discovered these sites and apps and I try not to because they were dark, dark days indeed. That might be slightly dramatic but it definitely was harder, and for little reward. At the end of the day, my practice for running my shop is to do so as efficiently as possible with using as little as my time as possible. I don't want to be slowed down in any regard and all of these break a chain to an anchor in some regard.

Canva - for fast graphics

Even though I am a graphic designer, sometimes I just need a cute graphic for a coupon fast. Rather than having to think about layout, I just hop over to canva.com and pick from one of the hundreds of design layout templates they already have.

EtsyRank - for quick understanding of listing performance

EtsyRank is an amazing tool and I dare you to not become obsessed with looking at your shop's scores. They have an audit system that after you link your site too, allows you an in-depth grading system to show you your shops performance. It looks at your listings and will even show you the mistakes you've made. One of my favorite features is the tag checker - I couldn't believe how many listings I had forgotten to write keyword tags for.

Squarespace - for elegant and easy to use blogging system

I firmly believe if you have an Etsy shop you should also have a blog so any blogging site will do, I just prefer Squarespace. I love the package options and how customizable the templates are. You can have a beautiful blog site up and running in a minute with Squarespace and they have room to grow, meaning you can open your own e-commerce store if you wanted one day (and I do.)

Grammarly - for fast and efficient spellchecking

I love Grammarly. I have used it for years now and I continue to consider it a great investment for my life in general. From writing business emails to listings on Etsy to this very blog post, Grammarly looks at everything I write. Granted, it's not perfect. Sometimes I go back and find something wrong and even Google Docs have caught seemingly noticeable mistakes after Grammarly checked it but it does offer insight into your writing which I love. A huge part of optimizing your SEO in Etsy is to be creative and versatile and Grammarly functionality helps with that (in premium).

Handmade Hunt - for a quick overview of your store

I love handmade hunt because it gives such a quick and easy to digest synopsis of your site. It ranks you, gives you a rundown on shop performance (if you have a sales increase) and gives you a list of similar shops so you can compare performances.
